We sell our native plants at a number of plant sales in Asheville, NC, Hendersonville, NC, and Greenville, SC areas. Below you can find a list of places we will be vending through the year. Come out and support these great organizations, and the regional growers too!

If you missed us at a plant show, come visit us at the nursery! We are open year-round by appointment, with seasonal retail hours during the spring and fall. Call us at 864.373.3660 to schedule a time to browse our stock of native trees, shrubs, and flowers.

We also give lectures and have workshops at various local venues throughout the year.  Come by and see us when we are in your area!

 

Saturday, January 30th 10:30am – Anne Elizabeth Suratt Nature Center at Walnut Creek Preserve (near Tryon, NC) – “Native Plants in the Landscape: For Unparalleled Beauty and Ease of Care” lecture given by Mary Holcombe of Southern Heritage Nursery.  The southeast boasts a staggering array of beautiful flowering plants, most of which are surprisingly easy to cultivate.  Come prepared to learn about a wide variety of ornamental native perennials, shrubs, and trees, and how to incorporate them into your own landscape.  Program put on by Pacolet Area Conservancy and Walnut Creek Preserve.

Saturday, April 16th Time TBA – SCNPS Spring Native Plant Sale – Greenville, SC – Annual plant sale with a focus on natives, located at Lake Conestee Nature Park in Greenville, SC.  The biggest native plant sale in the Upstate, find everything you need in one place!  Try to arrive early, there are always crowds!  Portion of the proceeds are donated to SCNPS.

Saturday, April 23rd 9am-2pm – French Broad River Garden Club Spring Plant Sale – Asheville, NC – Spring plant sale supporting the wonderful French Broad River Garden Club, as well as many local nurseries and growers.  Huge selection of native and non-native plants, as well as delicious, homemade lunch items available.  Always one of our favorite spring sales!  Sale located at Clem’s Cabin 1000 Hendersonville Rd. Asheville, NC.

Friday, April 29th – Saturday, April 30th – Botanical Gardens of Asheville Spring Plant and Rummage Sale – This is one of WNC’s most popular spring plant sales, showcasing a large variety of native and non-native plants from the area’s best growers, as well as plants propagated on site at the Botanical Gardens.  There is also a garden themed Rummage Sale both days, and fresh grilled burgers, veggie burgers, etc. available on Saturday.  This is a truly lovely time of year to visit the gardens!  A percentage of all purchases is donated to the Botanical Gardens.  One unique feature of this sale – invasive plants are not allowed, so you can rest assured that what you are planting will not be a problem for our area’s ecosystems.  Sale hours: Friday 12-6, Saturday 8:30-3.

Saturday May 28th – Sunday May 29th – Garden Jubilee Festival – Hendersonville, NC – Massive garden festival that takes over the entire downtown area of Hendersonville, NC , stretching from one end of Main St. to the other.  Hundreds of nurseries and garden decor vendors from across the southeast turn out for this festival, making it one of the largest garden festivals in the region.  This event was selected as one of the Southeast Tourism Society’s “Top 20 Events” not to be missed in 2016!  Event hours 9am-6pm both days.
